Toasted Pumpkin Seeds

Are you looking for something new to have on your desk to nibble through the day? Even though we think about pumpkins in fall/winter, pumpkin seeds are available year round and make a yummy and healthy snack.

Roasting your own seeds is also a way to watch the ingredients that go into your snack. And, it's super easy to do! You can be very simple and roast the pumpkin seeds with a little olive oil and salt. Or, you can mix flavors to make something sweet or savory.

I like to have a little sweet with a bit of heat. So, I use a little chili powder, smokey paprika, cayenne and honey. Makes for an addicting snack to satisfy those afternoon cravings.
